Heather trained as an acting coach and artistic director at Central School of Speech and Drama gaining an MA in 2008. As a director she has worked at The Kings Head in Islington, The New End Theatre in Hampstead as well as various regional theatres too numerous to mention. She is the resident artistic director for the popular comedy group Mad Cows and Englishmen with whom she has worked at many international functions including the world renowned Henley Festival. Heather has written many scripts for Mad Cows and Englishmen, revue shows such as Ol' Blue Eyes, Live on TV and The Great American Songbook and various other plays and shows. As an acting coach Heather runs regular workshops and classes for actors of all levels and abilities from amateurs and drama school students to professionals working on specific scripts and audition pieces. She has worked on several productions as acting coach to the performers. Heather has an adventurous spirit having been the co-founder and artistic director of The Henley Fringe Festival and with forays into screen work such as directing a TV pilot and a film version of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. When she is not working in the theatre, Heather uses her theatrical talents to coach and train business professionals from groups of young executives to MD's, CEO's and doctors in personal presence skills, presentation excellence and other performance related areas. |
